photography: a passion... an invitation to dream!

Passionate about photography since childhood – that I have never left 😉 – as a boy, I was fascinated by this Brownie Junior Six-20 camera of the 1930's that my Grandpagave me, I like to express and share my way of seeing the world.
So why photography? Because we all need to dream... in the abstract, in front of the beauties of nature... to escape to nearby or distant destinations... to hear us tell stories.
And as Twyla Tharp, dancer and choreographer, wrote it : « If art is the bridge between what you visualize and what others see, then talent is the way you build this bridge. » But I'm not a choreographer. 😉

It is said that it would be very rare for a photographer, whether an artist or an amateur, to never succumb to the temptation of taking self-portraits.
No introspective dimension assumed as far as I am concerned, but just an attraction for reflections whatever.
In any case,self-portrait is considered as a genre of photography in its own right , and as testimony... that I always take my camera everywhere 😉
